Re: Papelbon back to the Pen

I am responding to the general thread subject of Papelbon being the
closer not any particular posting.

I am not surprised that this happened. I said it here over the
offseason that he would probably be named the closer for 2007, although
I hoped I was wrong.

I feel that he could be an ace caliber starter, which I think is more
valuable thann a great closer. So, to fill a role we have our rotation
weakened. And I think we could have found someone besides Papelbon who
could have done the job,
