As a Yankee fan, I wouldn't want him. But if the Yankees gave him

He would just say the typical stuff..

"They really came after me, so I couldn't turn them down."
"The Red Sox had their chance, and didn't see the urgency to sign me.
The Yankees were very aggressive, and I couldn't turn them down."
"I was misquoted."
