I just do mlb.tv dude - way cheaper. (So I can watch my yanks games
north of boston)

That is a possibility. I have used that also before. I actually had
both MLB.TV last year and occasionally had to use the MLB.TV with
video out to the bigscreen.

1) picture sucks
2) occasional dropouts and freezes
3) other home users sucking bandwidth caused issues
4) pain to set up every game

etc...

Way worth the extra money for HD, surround, and ease of use.
Different TVs in the house can also watch different games.
