Damaged goods ?

Did the Red Sox get damaged goods in J.D. Drew?

Depends on the definition of "damaged goods." If it means something hidden,
Drew had serious shoulder surgery a year ago, he mentioned that it probably
hampered his power, and he couldn't throw well all season. Anybody who
watched him play knew it. It didn't just suddenly show up in a physical
exam.
