I wasn't referring to you so much, but but from Arroyo's perspective,
you're right. Though his second half was pretty rough.

I'm sorry this reply is late in coming -- I've been away...

Arroyo, 1st half (pre-ASB): 3.12 ERA
Arroyo, 2nd half (post-ASB): 3.50 ERA

For the year, he finished with a 3.29 ERA, 4th-best in the NL. A
3.12 ERA would have still left him 4th-best in the league; a 3.50
ERA would have knocked him down to 7th-best.

His second half was certainly worse than his first half, but not so
much that I think "pretty rough" is an accurate description of it.
Would that the Sox had had more pitchers having so rough a second
half.
