average. Trot is experiencing a massive decline.

I am VERY concerned with how Drew will react in the Boston pressure
cooker.

Why, in particular? Drew has never had particular problems with pressure
before. He has fantastic numbers playing in Philly, for example, where he is
reviled for holding out on them.

He is the free agent gem so far, and he is making a *shitload* of money.

Not that he isn't, but he's making less than Lee and Soriano... not to
mention Manny and (presumably) Daisuke (when you include the posting fee)
and Schilling.

That means he has a big target on his back with the fans, and even worse
with the media. He won't get much rope before CHB et al start sharpening
the knives.

That says much more about CHB than about Drew, though.


I hope I am wrong...but I have a VERY bad feeling about how this all ends
up.
