Do all Yankee fans do that ? BTW, I sent him 20 miles north - in the
opposite direction of where he wanted to go. :)

I was at a wedding in the Bronx the night of the 2004 game 3 massacre.
When
we left I asked the valet how to get back to I-95, he gave me some
directions that seemed like a lot of turns and backroads, fortunately
someone else was standing there waiting and asked him why he had sent me
to
Yankees Stadium instead of I-95. He then pointed to my Red Sox hat in
the
back seat and said 'because he's a Sox fan'. Fornunately the other guy
sent me the right way and I saved a few bucks on the fat ***'s tip...

I remember that douchebaggery.

I'm usually not that naive and may have figured it out anyway if the other
guy wasn't so quick to help out but man that pissed me off, I had my wife in
the car and didn't need to be lost in the Bronx with a wedding buzz...

Thank goodness for Garman GPS these
days.

I'm thinking of getting either that or a Tom Tom for my wife's truck. We
bought an Acura TL this spring with the Navi system and I swear I feel like
I've had it forever and don't want another car without it.

I just don't understand the compulsion to cross the line from
being an enthusiastic fan to becoming a jerk.

Douchebaggery sums it up well.
