I found a page while surfing the net i found a page about a player from
the dead ball era. He played for the Boston Beaneaters of the National
League. I wasn't awhere there was a team by that name. Anyone know what
happen to them? I first thought that might of been one of the names that
was used by the Red Sox before they took the name Red Sox. Until i read
that it was a National League team. My second thought was maybe it was
the name the Boston Braves used before taken the name Braves. Or maybe
even might of been a third M.L. team from Boston that i was never awhere
of that folded.
If anyone can help me out.

They aren't the Red Sox but they were the Red Stockings at one point. They eventually became the Braves.
