Lee was just an Englishman who was fascinated by the redsox for a year
or two. He had no history of the game (especially redsox history), so it
is no surprise that he has moved on. He probably is watching soccer
again or maybe he is going to become a football fan for a couple of
years and drive the redskins fans nuts with his questions like "Who was
Sonny Jurgenson", "Was Joe Thiesman white or black", or "What does RFK
stand for". He will try to come off as the biggest redskin fan in the
world before moving on to another sport.
Of course, Lee always had a man crush on Nomar too so maybe he is a
Dodger fan now. In any case, he reminds me of a friend of mine who has
recently been seen wearing a white sox jersey, florida gator t-shirt,
and a steelers hat.
This is so very unfair of you to have said that. AFAIR Lee was one
of the most active users and followers of the Red Sox when he was here. I
think he has proven that he's no flag in the wind when it comes to where
his heart is baseball-wise. The fact that he's not as active on the Red
Sox usenet group these days, does not imply that his MLB preferences
changed. Your opinion was unnecessarily ironic for me.
I wonder why he sold his Red Sox stuff?
I had to sell some of the older stuff as I didn't have room for it all, what
with me buying NEW stuff all the time. Gee, do I pass, do I pass?
