I'm not sure why you're surprised unless you've been reading too many
idiotic posts in asb-nyy. Cano is having a nice season and considering
the competition at 2B, he's having an excellent season (and defensively
he's +7 FRAA). I'd pick Roberts ahead of him based on his track
record, but after that Robbie has had just as good if not better than
the rest.

Nah, I just have him on a few fantasy teams and haven't been impressed
with
anything other than his BA. I'd take the guys I mentioned and I even
forgot
guys like Kinsler who probably should have been second to only Roberts.
I
like guys like Lopez and Belliard too. I guess I'm just saying he
doesn't
stand out in my mind enough to be leading. I guess it's visibility and
he
and Loretta get more attention because of who they play for.

I agree Loretta and Cano get more attention since they play for the RS
and NYY, but look at Robbie's numbers in comparison to AL (where the
competition isn't good). He's leading them in OPS.

Roberts .791
Jose Lopez .784
Loretta .764
Iguchi .764.

Kinsler was injured but he is all the way up at .900 OPS. I'm not tearing
Cano apart but he just doesn't impress me or make me think he deserves to be
an all-star.
