The nature of the show all but demands some things be left unanswered.
I thought they answered, to some degree at least, more than last season.
They nicely moved the Michael/Walt story along and set up things for
them next season. We won't have to deal with the countdown next year but
the ramifications of missing it. And I wa totally drawn in by the 4
toed foot and the ending. I fully intend to watch it again. Probably
more than once.

I didn't want to go into specifics, since I didn't think you'd seen it yet.
I'm hooked on the stupid show, as stupid as it is sometimes. They really
milked that Walt sotyline, so I'm glad they ended it (or did they? you
never really know).

Two things at the end lef me to a Conclusion: The island was etup as a cold
war interogation site and or bunker, ala "The Prisoner" where they use
various psychological stresses to extract information. 1. 'Henry' says
"we're the good guys" and 2. The Russian outpost guys. And a sort of weak
3. The magnetic thing is probably an EMP generator used to disrupt all
machines, such as subs, planes, etc.

But, it's all speculation since I doubt even the writers know when it's
going. And what the hell happened to "the monster" this season? The
show's entertaining, but it's all over the map!
