I agree. I liked him for a while but realised it was just because he
has a great radio voice.

He has a good voice, but he also has some knowledge of the game. for a
guy who didn't play, for example, he is quite good at pitch calling.
Joe Morgan says some silly stuff about baseball tactics, but he is
amazing in calling pitches, noticing hitters' swings, etc.
