Personally, I see myself applauding for him during game 1, and during
player introductions, as a thank you to past service. After that, I
see him as just any other schmuck stankee player that deserves any
wrath he gets, including a varitek catcher mitt to the head if so be it
warranted (which, I hope does get warranted some time in the season...)

I wonder if Varitek could summon up enough courage again to take the
first swing at a Yankee while wearing a helmet, face mask, chest
protector, and shin guards. Boy, is he tough! Talk about a cheap shot
artist...

Really? Tell you what...I for one would love to see it. My money would be on
Tek. Who would you take to face him?
