It's funny how no one remembers that Bernie Williams took less money to
sign back with the Yankees a few years back instead of taking the
bigger contract that Boston offered. He said he couldn't do that to the
New York fans. Now Damon leaves for NY and everyone says that it's
just a business and Damon is looking out for his family. What a crock.
Damon has proven that he's loyal to no one else other than himself, his
image and his purse. I hope whoever is pitching for the Sox (hope it's
Schill) knocks him off the plate bigtime like Pedro did to Matsui in
the ALCS in 2004.
Too bad Pedro isn't here still. He'd keep throwing at him until he hit
him.
