I was on the red line a few weeks ago and saw a bunch of 15-ish
year old girls talking and in the process they started dissing Damon's
throwing arm. You know it is bad when that happens. The discussion
wasn't even about pro ball either, they were tlaking about some boy
and somehow they were talking about his athletic skills and the
one noted that he "has an arm like johnny damon". It was pretty clear
from the followup comments that they didn't meant literally like
johnny damon but as in relative to his peers :)

Bernie's peashooter makes Damon look like Ellis Valentine. The scary
prospect (well comical for you guys) is Bernie will back up Sheff in
RF. He might as well kick the ball in or Cano should just run as close
as possible to Bernie on routine flies to RF with runner on 3rd and
just take the ball and throw it to home plate. It'll probably get back
sooner than Bernie shotputting the ball.
