No. I'm fairly ambilvalent about people breaking ettiquette, given that
I can't do anything about it. I'm getting my panties in a bunch over
people like you, who seem to think that because it's not written down,
it doesn't count. I'm sure you'll learn that some rules of civil
engagement are rules even if they aren't written down. Eventually. I

Perhaps, over the years, you've noticed that rarely have I broken any
rule of netiquette. I, however, am defending posters like Don and
others who contribute intelligent conversation, only to have it
destroyed by those who feel the need to correct how they convey their

The soccer newsgroups were sewers last time I looked. See, I've been
posting to Usenet for 13 years now, and I actually give a crap about
it. It's a fantastic resource, as long as pissants like you and your
everything-goes attitude don't prosper.
