I didn't know that I was the leading cause of the downfall of Usenet.
Pretty pathetic system, if that happens to be the case,
It's lasted 20 years because most people abide by the rules, eventually.
If you have a problem with the way I or anybody else posts, KF me.I did. Have you changed your From: again?
I changed my name, not my e-mail. Try blocking by e-mail.
Your email is ENTERMYNAMEHEREFIRSTANDLASTNOSPACE@xxxxxxxxxxx? Really?
Because it seems to me that it probably isn't, and you're causing
comcast.net to deal with your spam.
It only exists in the context of government. There is no freedom of
speech on Usenet.
There is freedom of speech on Usenet,
No there isn't. Your posts are disseminated by way of a getleman's
handshake between peers. You have no rights beyond your contract, if
any, with your direct Usenet host. It's a co-operative system. That
means people need to, you know, co-operate.
however, some people like you tend to police by what they think is
right, and not by any written documentation (besides what the creators
want you to do).
Like I said, pissing in the pool. Most people realise that it's not
right, even though there's nothing written down that says you
can't. Grow up.
"If you have a problem with the way I or anybody else posts, KF me."
isn't telling someone what to do?
I'm not telling, I'm commanding. That way, I don't have to respond to
garbage like this.
That isn't even coherent.
They probably realise what a knife-edge of give-and-take Usenet exists
on, unlike immature pool-pissers like you.
Immature? Says the one who get his panties in a bunch over proper
posting techniques.
No. I'm fairly ambilvalent about people breaking ettiquette, given that
I can't do anything about it. I'm getting my panties in a bunch over
people like you, who seem to think that because it's not written down,
it doesn't count. I'm sure you'll learn that some rules of civil
engagement are rules even if they aren't written down. Eventually. I
hope, for your sake.
If you are that much of a stickler when it comes to this, I can only
imagine the stress that your family has to live with at home. Poor,
poor people.
Very poor attempt at deflection. Must try harder.
Seriously, though. If I pissed in your pool, would you say "Oh, well. I
guess I should have gotten your written pledge that you wouldn't piss in
my pool?" Or would you think it just plain rude?
