After your unproviked attacks of me due to your prejudice, you're lucky
it was only condesention.

Why? Were you considering hired goons?

No, I could've flame you, but I was polite.

Every meathead who commits uncivilized acts thinks it's appropriate, and
so to claim that they need understanding for having committed these acts
is ludicrous.

By this definition, everyone that has gone to war is a meathead and
their actions deserve no understanding.

There's always a but, isn't there. Well, there shouldn't be. No buts.
They're simply wrong and malicious.

Yup. A very simple issue. Why are you not some type of international
consultant or something? Its a shame all of your insight is being
wasted...

So now that your prejudices didn't fly, I guess instead of coming at the debate head-on, all you've got left is sarcasm? My, how easily your position collapsed. Look, I'm not saying that the mid-east issue is simple, I'm saying that it's a simple matter to recognize it's wrong to physically harm people, or destroy their possessions, for no other reason than they are of the same nationality as those who've offended you.

It's not rocket science, it's not international diplomacy. It's thugary, and that's all there is to it. No matter how complicated you try to make it, no matter how much you try to ignore what I say in favor of what you think I should've said, and no matter how sarcastic you want to be to avoid this simple fact, it is really that simple.

And so am I. And any value system that allows for the destruction of
property of those who did nothing to offend anyone, and allows the
infliction of harm on those whose only mistake is to be of the same
nationality as those who might have done something offensive is a bad
value system.

Read your paragraph above...and then think about the war in Iraq.

This has nothing to do with the war in Iraq. It's not surprising that you'd try to make your rediculousness about everything else but what it is. The subject now is about the thugs who are hurting innocent people because they were offended by a cartoon. When you can stick to that, and resolve that issue, I'll be happy to debate you about Iraq. But of course, if your history is any indicator, as soon we begin debating that, you'll just switch to how evil Isreal is, or some other topic. The only way you can keep your position from being exposed as failed is to keep moving and never allow yourself to be pinned down.

Stick to this subject, OK?

Has
there been any death of innocent people whose only mistake is to be of
the same nationality as those who might have done something offensive?

I'll gladly get into this red-herring of your's as soon as you admit that your position of the thugs to which I refer is a failed one.

What's more, those same people who you claim have a value
system which allows this obviously do not, or they'd understand what
they perceive is the persecution of many Arabs or Muslims for the
transgression of just a few.

Your argument collapses of its own weight.

The idea that wrong is wrong, but it should be excused because it could
be right if viewed differently is nonsense.

I am not saying it should be excused. I am saying this issue, to any
free thinking and rational person, is NOT simple...there are MANY
angles to consider...and most of them will be undecipherable to you or
I, being of a different religion, different country, and different core
values.

Consider for what? You throw words like that around as though they mean something, when really, they're empty vessels. There's nothing to consider. People who hurt other people simply because they belong to the same nationality are thugs, and even these thugs understand as much.

Just more of your prejudicial arrogance. Homework? So anyone who
disagrees with you just doesn't know better? LOL! You're making a fool
of yourself.

So you read that article? Did you think it had any relevance to this
conversation? Why or why not?

No, I haven't read the article, and have no intention of reading it. Either you can make your point on your own, or you cannot. I could post a hundred articles for you to read, and as soon as you refuse to read one, I could call you ignorant and unwilling to learn. It's a dead end. Make your case on your own, or yield. Pick your poison.

More bull***. You gave yourself away when you said that the US is the
face of the western world to many.

They aren't?

Not surprisingly, you missed the point. Not only is it irrelevant to our debate, but the fact that it's true is just another indication of inexcusable prejudice, and my point is that it's not surprising that you'd see nothing wrong with such prejudice. Duh.

You're so accepting of prejudicial
behavior such as that because it's part of your value system.

Careful...you are now guilty of what you got so incensed with me for in
the first place...

Not one bit. you've exhibited enough prejudicial behavior just in our debate that it's something I've experienced about you first hand. I'm not pre-judging you at all. I'm judging you based upon what you've written.

That's
why you said "people such as you" and launched canned responses to what
you thought I said instead of what I actually said. You think anyone
who disagrees with you must all think alike, and so you really don't
have to bother to read what they actually say. How pathetic.

Don't tell me what I think, please.

Like you did me? That's a laugh. I'm concluding what you think based upon what you've written, and I justified my position accordingly. You, OTOH, simply made assumptions based upon nothing more than I disagreed with you.

Because right now you are as wrong
as I, supposedly, was about you in the beginning. Should I act all
high and mighty and demand an apology? Or maybe remind you that you
don't know me?

See the above. My comments were supported by a history of comment by you which I was able to provide, and not just wild speculation.

And now you're saying that it's OK to subscribe to the notion that two
wrongs make a right. It's OK for others to take out their frustrations
on the US because after all, the US isn't lily pure either, is that it?
If not, then you comment above is irrelevant.

My comment is irrelevant? Roger. You know what? I am going to give
you what you so obviously crave.

You're right. You win.

There. Good for you.

LOL! The last refuge of a losing position. You're a child.
