People may disagree with her, but she's far, far from dumb, McDuck's
assertions to the contrary.

Not just my assertion. Lots of people listen to or read her stuff
thinks she is beyond stupid. Clever? Yes. Sometimes funny? Yes again.
Good but wasted intelligence? Probably yes. But still dumber than a
bed post.

And don't think it is super odd for people with good academic
credentials to be stupid. I deal with such people daily (some Liberal,
some Conservative). Coulter is not stupid in the sense of not being
"bright" --- as we understand that term. But she either lacks the
intellectual acuity to draw reasonable conclusions from evidence or
fakes it for public effect.

I can't possibly know whether she is secretly smart but just plays
stupid for attention. Doesn't matter much to me in either case. So all
I mean to say is that in her public comments, she repeatedly makes
stupid and inflammatory statements that any sensible person would know
to be stupid.
