Renteria was mostly a salary dump. And the prospect was highly
regarded. A prospect of that calibre (Marte) would be a fine return on
Wells. What I don't want for Wells is a 5th outfielder and another
utility infielder. I agree he does not have nearly enough value to get
us a starting OF with good credentials (like Coco Crisp).
