I ran the outing at the redsox jimmy fund golf tournament at the
Colonial in Lynnfield, mass. in 1987 and 1988...
Jim Rice was fantastic with the fans,,, He signed autographs and stayed
longer than most sox players,,, He got a bum rap as bering portrayed as
rude..The press was pissed because he went home to his wife and kid
every night and gave them little fodder to print.
Fat Roger C. was another story.. He was a real prick..
