Statistics aren't subjective. They're objective. That's the point.

It is possibly to use statistics in a selective or arbitrary way. You
did it when you listed a bunch of RBI numbers, for example. That doesn't
mean that you should throw the baby out with the bathwater, and it
doesn't mean that OBP and SLG aren't better tools for evaluating a
player than RBI. They are. That's the truth. Objectively.
