I honestly never heard anyone make a statement saying the limit is
125M-130M, obviously they'd like to cut it somewhat, even TEE is showing
signs of doing just that, but I have not been aware of any decree like that.
I apologise if that's the case. Could you show that quote maybe? I think
you'll find Lowell to be a pretty decent repacement at third ( he did win a
Golg Glove last year), they're not done dealing and I see little problem
replacing our All-Star 1st baseman, Kevin Millar ( I believe a guy named
Olerud is still available and Papi wouldn't be horrible if we go with a DH
type), all kinds of options at 2nd with Pedroia, saw him a couple of times
at Pawtucket and he should move right in, Cora ( still under contract and
cheap). We have good young pitchers, one or two should move into the pen,
Timlin is back and of course there's still Foulke (yikes!) And did I mention
they aren't done dealing? Anyway, don't panic, step back from the ledge,
enjoy the show. I love this shit myself.
