Gammons says Sox land Beckett

Beckett and Lowell for Hanley Ramirez and Annibal Sanchez is the word.
I *love* this trade. It's not often that a 25y.o. ace type becomes
available. Sanchez and Ramirez have fantastic potential but Beckett has
shown that he can do it in the majors. Beckett's minor injuries (mostly
blisters and such) have kept his pitch count down through his most
vulnerable years. Lowell can at least defend and may bounce back. Last year
he made his 30 starts and pitched well, and who could forget him shutting
the Yanks down in the stadium in the WS?
Let's see the Sox extend Beckett long-term. This is huge.
