Why you lop-eared son of a snake salesman! Over the last 4 seasons
LeCroy has hit OVER .300 vrs LHP with an OBP near .400 and SLG over
..550. He is a super platoon player. Just keep him on the bench vrs
RHP. He should be platooning with Petagine at firstbase. Together, they
should do as well as Konerko while offering a strong bat off the bench
as well. I just hope the new GM doesn't dump Petagine.

BY sending LeCroy outright to AAA the Twins do not have to offer him
arbitration. He was lacking just a bit in enough ML service time to
reject the assignment and opt for free agency. They may plan to add him
back to the roster after spring training. However, he is eligible to be
taken in the R5 draft. Just in case some other team drafting before
Boston is smart enough to select him, I would offer a low level
prospect to the Twins before the draft which will be coming up next
month.
