newsworthy if it wasn't for his last name.


Had this been "Joe Smith" who beat his wife/girlfriend/partner
the story would most likely warrant a mention in the local press. The
difference would be in the details of the assault. These sickening
stories are in the papers every day but rarely with such colorful
descriptions.
