You certainly are entitled to your opinion. CC probably does not care
a whole lot about your opinion (or mine), nor should he. But if most
people shared your view, he probably would change his practice,
unless, like some baseball people, he thinks he needs to do what he's
been doing to stay successful.

In any event, you are giving advice, not claiming to be enforcing a
non-existent rule.
