Except that, but for his last year, Ruth was primarily a PITCHER for
the Sox. In his last year with the Sox, Ruth went 9-5 on the mound and
batted .322 with 432 AB.....he then EXPLODED with the Yanks for .376
and 54 HRs. FIFTY-FOUR in 1920.
In other words it's a stupid analogy.
