Re: dearth of pipes in shops
Face it, fellas; we're dinosaurs. In fact, my wife is convinced that I'm the
only pipe smoker left in the world and based on how many others she's ever
seen in her travels -- i.e., none -- I understand her perspective.
The days are long gone when I could walk into a shop and pick out a quality
pipe based on a hands-and-eyes-on examination. All my pipes (and my tobacco)
are purchased on-line or from ebay and it's not nearly as much fun; not to
mention the frequency of disappointment.
