Re: Horn stem question

We've secretly replaced fivewheels <fivewheels@xxxxxxxxx>'s message
with Folger's Crystals. Let's see if anyone notices:
I just picked up a Viprati with a horn stem, which will be a first for
me. One (possibly silly) question I've always had with horn inlays,
and now this stem: What kind of horn is this? Buffalo? Is that
assumed? Because I've seen many pipes with horn elements, but they
never specifically say what kind.

Just wondering. TIA.

"No no", said the penguin,
"It's just ice cream."
