Good evening ASP,
What might you be enjoying in your pipe and otherwise?
I just finished a new-to-me blend D&R or Two Sisters (?) called
Windsail in one of my first pipes a Best brand lattice bent Meer I
paid $15 for on ebay maybe 10-11 years ago. I liked this light Va
blend a lot and will purchase some. Any thoughts about this blend?
Waiting the First Bell of the First Watch (RIP Sailorman Jack) I'm
now smoking Aylesbury's Sir John Flake Virginia in an old medium S&R
billiard Yard Pipe (RIP Steve Anderson). This is nice so far. More
savory than the Windsail.
On the side, I'm sipping a little McCallan 15 y.o. Fine Oak scotch in
a neat little Glencarin glass. I'm taking a break from doing some
research. Ol' Tucker (now certainly 14 and probably 15) is by my side
asleep. The lovely Mrs. Clemons' dog - Charlie went inside to sit on
her lap. The new pup is Sophie - a 9 month old black lab, doesn't
give me much peace, but a whole lotta joy. Played fetch with her for
close to half an hour then went for a long walk in the wonderfully
cool evening air.
At the intercourse of Great Black Swamp and great Lake Erie, it is a
wonderful 63 degrees on shore with 65% humidity and only an occasional
breeze.
Offshore on the leeward side of the island, there is a NNE wind of 13
knots blowing up 2 foot waves.
Wishing you all a pleasant evening and a peaceful night, wherever you
happen to be.
