I just moved from Arizona to North Carolina about a month ago, and as
I emptied out one of my boxes (I packed in AZ by dumping drawers into
a Rubbermaid tub), I discovered three major treasures, long thought
lost:
1.) A Cavicchi 2C fiammata that Bear gave me during my first Iraq
tour. He smoked English blends in it, so I continued in the habit, as
conditioned pipes tend to do best for me on steady diets of the same
blends.
2.) My Ardor Keith Moore bent ball Urano. I love this pipe. Quirky,
stylish, and it just smokes like a champion.
3.) A 4 oz. tin of Marlin Flake I bought around 2004. Still has the
parchment-style label on it. XYZ distributors.
4.) What treasure is complete without pirates, in this case a small
trove (about two ounces) of VERY vintage Pirate Kake (also 2004, from
OIF 2)!
Just thought I'd share that as my re-entrant post to ASP.
