Robert-

Tom and I weren't being snotty, we were pointing out there's an issue
of credibility here. Using a non-disposable email address would go a
long way towards establishing cred, and so would a website.

What you're offering is quite generous, but you have to step back and
look at it from someone else's point of view. Would YOU send a
valuable piece of property to a stranger, when that person was using a
throw away email account, and had no permanent presence?

Exactly! Just some basic business advice.

A lot of people try to make a living at a hobby (or even a skill), but
actually conducting business in a "professional manner" is a entirely
different regimen.

Certainly you are aware of all the scams that permeate Usenet?
Unfortunately, yours too closely paralleled them.- Hide quoted text -

I would welcome any suggestions you may have to conduct my repair
services in a more professional manner while please bearing in mind
that I'm disabled and living on a marginal income. That's why I have
all the free mail services etc.
