Lately there has been a few more additions to the selection of lighters

I used to use a torch to light my cigars, but stopped when I
discovered how much better the first few draws were if I took my time
and used a soft flame to light them.
IMO, you shouldn't be using a jet lighter to light your cigars. If you
light a cigar properly; that is, slowly, with a soft flame, you don't
get that bitter flavor 1/2 inch or so. If you use a torch to light it,
you scorch the tobacco at the foot of the cigar.
So I guess in answer to your question, no, it wouldn't be worth it to
me. YMMV.
