Can somebody out there tell me the difference? Different tobaccos

I've always been under the impression that a Scottish blend is
composed of Virginias, unflavored Cavendish, occasionally some
Latakia, and a good amount of Oriental tobaccos.  An English blend on
the other hand usually consists of Virginias, occasionally some
Orientals, and is dominated by Latakia.  I don't think however that
there are stringent guidelines as to what components define a Scottish
blend, and therefore interpretations of what a Scottish blend is can
vary.
