Hello everyone,
So I have a question. I'm not sure how simple it is, but I though
maybe you all could help.
So, I usually smoke CW's. My favorite pipes are very long and as
such, I don't do a lot of clenching of them. BUT, sometimes I smoke a
smaller pipe while hiking or working on something. But I think I'm
doing something wrong. I get a lot of saliva in and around the stem
and it makes it kind of unpleasant. I like the dry feeling of the bit
and I don't like saliva going down the stem adding to the moisture.
So, what am I doing wrong here? Is it a placement problem? Am I just
not a good candidate for clenching? Do I just produce too much spit?
As much as I enjoy the long pipe, a short one is just more convenient
at times, and I would like to be able to do this well.
Thanks and happy puffing,
Bilbo
I suggest you either use a p-bit or if it is "placement," as you put
it, keep your tongue away from the bit. Other than that, a
pipecleaner in your pocket or console is always an option.
