My dad once told me about his residency (medical). There was the lead
doctor there who was a pipe smoker. One of the duties of all his
residents was to break in his pipes. And apprently he kept up quite a
stream of new pipes coming into his hands, because they were always
smoking. I just can't imagine it today - smoking in a hospital.
Me, i just fill 'em up and smoke 'em.
