I've made lately an experiment to save some bucks, buying very cheap
tobacco and "upgrading" it so it can smell and burn like a top quality
brand.
It worked... somehow...
I used a jar with a rubber seal to keep the tobacco in perfect smoking
condition. The lid also has a built in humidifier.
I think the best liquor for the experiment is a scotch, you can choose
between Teachers (cheap end of market), Dewars, Johnnie Walker, Cutty
Sark, The Famous Grouse.
I suggest also single malts like Glenfiddich, while Glenmorangie is
actually the best selling single malt whiskey within Scotland itself.
Ok, there are two procedures for the upgrading, you can just use the
humidifier with the scotch and wait some days, while the tobacco
inherit the liquor properties.
Or you can do the "hard way", putting some scotch on the tobacco, sun
drying and waiting a couple of days.
It works, if you smoke a lot and you are in a moment of your life
where you have to save some bucks... let's try. Fun guaranteed.

Have fun William ! Don't forget to pour a few "drams" down your
throat. That really makes it fun ! ;-)
