As far as I know there are three choices:
a. Grain alcohol or whisky, rum, etc.- most expensive
b. Denatured alcohol- less than half the price of grain alcohol
c. Isopropyl alcohol- less than half the price of denatured alcohol
I've never used denatured alcohol. I've always used grain alcohol and
have always been satisfied with the results. I never really considered
the price because I always thought that grain alcohol was "best."
Silly me. <g>
What do you use? Reason(s) for your preference?

Everclear, it's still legal in Florida.
If I'm out of Everclear then bourbon or Presidente brandy. If I can't drink it I don't want it in my pipe.
