I had a break from pipe smoking for a year or so since the last
apartment I lived in I could not smoke. I have since moved and am
eagerly getting back into pipe smoking pleasures. I ordered a 2ounce
tin of glpease laurel heights among others. Laurel Heights really
stood out. I absolutely love it...this is the first time I have tried
something other than the usual aromatics. Latakia hasn't grown on me
yet not sure if it ever will...but virginia and perique blends I have
come to find absolutely delightful...very excited about the choices
out there.
So for anyone who has had experience with laurel heights...or can
recommend a great all day virginia blend...I would love to hear it.
laurel heights is fantastic but just a bit too rich for an all day
smoke for me. I plan to do a big 8 pack sampler from cornell and
diehl...but there are so many virginia based blends to try its mind
boggling.
Thanks again!
best,
Jared
As far as a VaPer from C&D, I'd go with Three Friars.
I loved it fresh so I put some away for storage. I'm sitting here looking at a pint jar of Three Friars from 12-'97, it is pure ambrosia!!!
All the Best,
