Good evening Ed, asp,
I received my TAD order today and immediately opened a tin of MacB Honey
and Chocolate and smoked a bowl. It was not what I was expecting and the
jury is still out on it. It was far less sweet than a good VA which was
a surprise as my past experiences with cavendish had me expecting goo.
In fact, it wasn't sweet at all. Initial impression was that it tasted
alkaline and dry and bitter chocolate, not much in the way of honey
aroma in the smoke, though it was noticeable in the tin. I think
tomorrow I will try mixing it with some sweet va, possibly G&H Rich dark
honeydew or 5100.

I had the same reaction to H&C. I love the tin aroma but the smoke...not
so much. At first it was growing on me but it seemed to hit a wall and
flatten out.
I'll try mixing it with some straight virginia and see what happens
though honestly I don't have much hope. Maybe if the H&C is used as a
condiment?

I haven't tried it but I wonder what butternut burley might add to
sweeten it a bit. Mary
