Pipe tampers??

Ok Pipers,
just what in the blu perfect hell afe pipe tampers? Ok, I know the
proper name for them, but I just don't see the need for them. Some
guys make a living out of twisting plastic into odd shapes and colors
and selling them to poor wanta be pipe smokers. Come on you traders
on the temple steps, get a job with some upholding social graces, for
Gods sake. The poor pipe smokers have enough to deal with warding
off Cancer of the mouth and things like that, we don't need a special
thingie to pack down our pipe tobacco that costs dollars upon dollars
when a golf tee or nail will do just as well. Hell you wnatabes,
don't name a plastic thingie and expect it to gain status in the
smokers world. What a world. :o)
