Heck, you don't even have to spar with the briar gods, you can just
deal with the plastic gods and call it good!

the pipe is lit, but nobody is home.
Thats true, but I also spar with the mammoth/ivory gods, the horn
gods, the bamboo gods, the bocote gods, the aluminum gods, and the
amboyna burl gods. The one thing that has kept me from pipe making is
the thought of sending out a pipe and not really being 100% sure how
it's going to smoke. That's why pipe makers who consistently create
great smoking pipes amaze me.
