It's not really about "helping kids;" it's about *control* It's about who gets to run things, set priorities, decide what is right and what is wrong and how much *you* are going to pay for it.

What about those of use who can't have kids?
I've paid thousands upon thousands to give more and more tax breaks for families with kids, and continue year after year paying school taxes. They say that investing in the kids, even if you have none, benefits the society. Bullshit.
After seeing the way these kids are not taught in schools, and have zero skills besides handling an iPod or texting on the phone, I think "I" deserve a tax break for not bringing a kid into this world.
But.....I/we are such a small minority that "WE" don't count.........
