He did come across in a way like he planned on using ASP for his
benefit and not contribute any longer in a meaningful way. The way I
see it is, yeah, that's his perogative and no one can stop him. That
might have been Dock's intention but it wasn't the most tactful way of
saying it. There's another guy and maybe multiple others that come
here and post ads like judperl. That's all they're good for. They
don't share their experience or participate. I think it's cheap but
as has been pointed out, you can't stop them. Calling someone on what
you see as BS is fair game though.
There are still at least a few of us who think that the ads from Judperl and Dock Perry are far more interesting, not to mention relevant, than the endless series of what-I'm-smoking-right-this-minute posts or the "contributions" of new pipe smokers asking inane how-do-I-pack-my-pipe or what-shall-I-smoke-next questions!
