Re: Cob Smokers Question

Just got two cobs to smoke around the house inside and out while I'm

I've got them in hand:
1. Do you or how do you load the cob? Just like a briar, looser,
tighter?

Stuff the tobacco into the big hole. Then suck through the bit. If
there's no resistance at all, pack it a little more. If there's
enough resistance to let you know something's there, light it. Then,
if you want to do the "breath smoking" thing, just keep it in your
teeth and keep your lips clamped, the rest will take care of itself.

2. Does the lacquer (or whatever they use) to seal the outside cause
health issues when heated?

None that I'm aware of. But I haven't worried about "health issues"
since about 10 years ago when a doctor ran all kinds of tests on me
then told me that my symptoms would keep getting worse and eventually
I'd lose control of my bowels if I didn't give him large amounts of
money to lay me on a table, cut my guts out, ream my spine from the
front, then throw the entrails back in and sew up the corpse. I told
him very politely to *** himself and started getting more exercise.
After ten years there are no symptoms and I only *** on command. Go
figure, eh?

3. What's the best 'baccy to use?

Cobs love burley. Dunno why.
