especially The IMP is okay, I love the tenon etc. the screw on ones
blow, I was kinda disappointed that the stem was not flush on the last
two IMPs I got, If it had been briar it would have gone back. the fit
kinda blows, but it smokes very well. My altinook I like but the airway
is a little restricted. I will be getting lots more meers great for
bringing out tobacco flavor, as I understand it they need only a short
rest, the meer has no ghost flavor which sometimes can be real nice,
If you are new to pipe smoking I would highly recommend one to roud
out your rotation. the IMP is an excellent value and when I get a new
meer I wll compare the two. I will review the two  the new IMP  I have

The meers that I've had in the earlry years sucked big time.  The
smoke channel was always way too small in the bits,  and they were a
bad experience.  I've since discovered IMP & I'll probably stay with
this brand untill the rest of the makers come into the 21st century.
Having a meer with a "normal" tenon is a blessing & joy to smoke.  The
two IMP meers I have are a joy to smoke.  I don't restrict them to
only one type of blend/tobacco.  I haven't found them to retain any
ghosts.  I enjoy them immensely,  IMHO.

well Pual this is my first real rodeo with a decent meer, I am not
sure of a thr nuances of thre quaily of meers I do know the screw on
tenons blow big time I guess I was asking because Meer is so porous it
would eventually suck suck suck up some qualities you run through
them. the two Imps are dedicated to haddos and str8 vas. man I love
these pipes I smoke a bowl in the morning in one another at night
haddos and Christmas cheer is all I have been running through them but
I am so miserale from the cold that I don't really care what I smoke
