I often only get to smoke half a bowl. I'm wondering if there is any taste
difference by packing a full bowl and smoking it half way down or loading up
only a half bowl. My pipes have good cake in the bottom so I'm not
concerned about more cake. I noticed this morning with only half a bowl that
toward the bottom the Cairo I was smoking that it started to loose it's
flavor somewhat. Anyone got any wisdom on this?

If you usually only have time for half a bowl, have you considered the
idea of pipes with smaller bowls?
