My son said if you click on pop ups you can get them. One scam has a
virus cleaner advertised for free that claims to scann all of them
that constantly runs, and loads up the viruses. His advice was do not
click any pop ups you don't know. Another scam offers a free trip or
you just won a contest. Be careful of e-mails that you don't know.
There are people out there that get a kick out of destroying PCs by
getting you to click on anything that comes up.
Don't click on anything or one you don't know. Just close it.
