First of all, it depends on what you mean by "stinger". That term is generally associated with Kaywoodie, and when you screw in the stem, you have no control over where the holes are.

If, on the other hand, you are talking about aluminum tubes in the mouthpiece, that is a different matter.

Perhaps you could provide more info on what you are talking about?

Regardless, I would not throw them away. Someone else may want them if you sell it at a later date.
